Robert & I took off on our road trip to New Braunfels which was about a four hour drive from Rockport.It was getting into Hill Country and very scenic. We stayed in a small motel for 2 nights and paid $39.99 plus tax a night. Pretty cheap accommodation. We managed to find a total of 15 caches. We spent a day driving around Canyon Lake. There is a huge dam there which controls the water flow into the lower Guadalupe River.
Oh..there it is!
No porch!
We left Texas just after noon on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. After an uneventful trip with good weather we arrived home about 8:30 pm, Sunday, March 21, 2010.

Jerry needed something to split his firewood so Robert & I gave him this axe we had found while out Geocaching.
We're enjoying ourselves at Jackie and Rogers trailer.
Jim & Carol are heading back to North Carolina in the morning so we all got together and enjoyed a couple of drinks and snacks.
Bill & Barb cooked a Turducken. It is a boneless turkey, stuffed with a duck, then a chicken, and then stuffing. Everyone brought side dishes and we enjoyed yet another great meal with friends.
