Today we went to Golliad Market Days with Harry & Carry which is held in the downtown square. Apparently there is usually about 170 vendors but many canceled due to the cold weather. (Our water line froze the other night) . It's about 60 miles to Golliad so it was nice that we were driven in a warm truck. We did some sight seeing while we were there which included Presidio La Bahia, which is the oldest fort west of the Mississippi in the U.S. It was restored in 1960. We also saw the Mission Nuestra Senora Del Espiritu Santo de Zuniga. Both were very interesting historic sites. Of course we talked Harry & Carry into a little Geocaching as well.
